EN | November 2013: Metric Conversion Quartet leave Lisbon for a van trip which will bring the portuguese free jazz band gigging around in Europe. Brand New Video followed them in Badajoz, Orléans and Paris.
Once in Paris, Roberto Negro joins Luís Vicente, Federico Pascucci, Vasco Furtado e André Rosinha, and the metamorphosis is complete: What about Sam? is the name of the newborn band whose album will be released next October.

A partir do próximo 1 de Julho 2014, corre o risco de fechar para sempre, pois una inmobiliaria russa comprou o predio para construir um novo hotel. Nuno Gonçalves, bisneto do fundador e dono actual da loja, está a lutar com todas as suas forças.

EN | After the authorized general strike that took place in Lisbon on june the 27th 2013, a group of 3-400 people spontaneously gathered and kept walking down the streets, strictly watched by the police, who lead the parade. Despite the presence of many armed agents, the group unexplainably ended up walking along the access to the “Ponte 25 de Abril” (the so-called bridge of April the 25th, former Salazar Bridge), symbol of the portuguese revolution. Taking advantage of a curve in the road, the agents forced the protesters into a dead end to identify them.
