Brand New Video is proud to have been part of the production team behind Hockey Fanatics, the eight-part docu-travel series that premiered on Crave (Bell Media) on February 6, 2026. Hosted by comedy icon Dave Foley, the series took audiences across North America to meet the superfans, celebrities, and communities that make hockey more than just a game — stopping in cities including Los Angeles, Fort Lauderdale, Nashville, Toronto, Vancouver, Montreal, Salt Lake City, and St. Louis.

Brand New Video’s Head of Production, Francesco Spinucci, served as Director of Photography and Executive Producer on the project, working alongside creator and showrunner Alexander Scrymgeour.
Fellow production partners are Jon Graham Films and Barandoni, in association with Scrimmy Media and Shadow Pine Studios, for Crave.

Francesco’s contributions spanned both sides of the camera and the production ledger — from shaping the visual language of each city’s story on location, to helping steer the series through production as an executive producer. It’s a combination that reflects how Brand New Video approaches every project: creative execution backed by hands-on production leadership.

The series brought Francesco and the crew face to face with some of hockey’s most recognizable names, including Mike Myers, Jason Priestley, Wynonna Judd, Jay Baruchel, Nico Tortorella, Scott Wolf, Scott Bakula, and Shenae Grimes-Beech, alongside NHL legends like Luc Robitaille, Mark Recchi, and Wendel Clark — all while capturing the everyday superfans whose passion for their teams anchors each episode.
